Overview
Many new buyers recognize that there are profitable opportunities in the imprinting industries. The trick is figuring out which direction to go. Digital Art Solutions takes a completely unique approach to selling imprinting systems. We believe that digital art and software are just as important as hardware or the imprinting equipment. The best hardware on the planet has little value if you can not easily design and output graphics. For this reason, every potential Digital Art Solutions customer will undergo a comprehensive needs analysis before a system recommendation is made. As a result of this consultation, customers are able to determine the production process that best fits their needs, and that will give them the quickest return on their investment. Digital Art Solutions will also make a specific recommendation for each customer including digital art, software, hardware, and consumable products. We deliver and support the entire imprinting system as well as offering comprehensive training solutions. We believe that our approach is not only unique in the industry, but also offers our customers significant competitive advantages over traditional equipment resellers.
Our Professional Background
Company History
Before founding Digital Art Solutions (DAS) in 1992, our family ran the largest imprinted sportswear company in the Southwest. Our daily struggle was producing artwork in an efficient manner than enabled us to be profitable on small orders . Since our focus was College Bookstores and other retail locations , many of our orders were under 72 pieces and each required custom artwork. At one point, we had over 20 full-time production artists. After the sportswear business was sold in 1992, my father started our company, DAS, based on the idea that “There has to be a better way of producing artwork.”
Success
Most companies struggle with the production of electronic artwork. It is costly, time-consuming, and can be quite tricky. Most companies engaged in screen printing, sign making, embroidery, engraving or promotional products do not have formal training or education in industry specific art production. Since 1992 our clients have succeeded in streamlining and automating their art production processes. As a result of our solutions, our customer base of nearly 50,000 users has been able to return millions of dollars to their bottom lines.
Experience
Because we've been engaged in electronic art production for over 20 years , we know first hand the issues that industry professionals struggle with every day. as much as 90% when compared with the
traditional art production. We have helped our customers transform art production from a cost of business to a sales and marketing opportunity. This has been the key to our success in the industry.
What you will run into
Everyone who is new to electronic art production must go through the same basic learning curves. Which can be a daunting process for most individuals. There is so much to know , and practical industry-specific information is not readily available. Although imprinting hardware is usually easy to use, it has been our experience that most folks typically pick up their imprinting hardware quickly. The frustrating and often confusing part is learning the software and creating production ready art is often frustrating and confusing. This is often where the bottleneck occurs. Every production process has unique requirements that significantly impact the quality of the final product
which can create a costly trial-and-error period. It does not have to be this way.
